Looks like the long awaited Lg's Xnote p330 is set to reach the international shop after it's Korean premiere this week. There has been a lot venture about the machine's time to come after Korean firm kept silent for any months but now we know that the laptop is in fact real and includes a whole bunch of foreseen, features promised while the preliminary display earlier in June.
What's under the hood? First announcements included a range of Cpus together with Intel's Core i5 and i7 but as it turns out only the slower version is ready at the time of writing. It's not a major dissatisfaction since the line of high voltage processors is well known to deliver good punch and could also lead to longer battery life. It's fair to say that only heavy video editing and latest games may look may force the system to the limits.

The major selling point of this laptop will most likely be the graphics chip which is Nvidia GeForce Gt555M. It's foreseen, how Lg's engineers managed to fit this movable polygon-crunching monster in such a small chassis but for now the benchmarks clearly show that p330 is one of most grand ultraportable laptops on the market. The processing units are complimented by either 4Gb or 8Gb of ram to get the most out the remaining parts of the system.
In order to added increase the total speed of the system Lg employed ExpressCache file distribution which combines two hard disk drives - a customary mass warehouse option with a solid state drive. Ssd shop the most generally used files such as Os while the other larger drive keeps all other data. This arrival can potentially save a lot of time for population on the move - the tested boot time in Windows 7 is just under 20 seconds.
While p330 does not exactly fit into the Intel's Ultrabook specifications which clearly states that chassis may not exceed 20mm in it's thickest point, the whole 13.3 inch system is snugly fitted into a 12 inch case. In other words, you get a much more screen real estate in the same covenant container which is all the time desirable.
Time will show how popular Lg Xnote P330 laptop becomes when - and if - it reaches Us and Europe. The current price in Korea is an equivalent of in the middle of 00 and 00 depending on specification but expect it to rise, especially in Uk, after adding import taxes.
